Josephine Torrente is a Director at Hyman, Phelps & McNamara, P.C., the largest dedicated FDA regulatory law firm in the U.S., where she has specialized in regulatory strategy for over 25 years. She advises pharmaceutical and biotech companies on FDA approval pathways, clinical development, and product lifecycle management.

Previously, Ms. Torrente served as EVP of Corporate and Regulatory Affairs at Sprout Pharmaceuticals, and held senior regulatory and research roles at Wyeth-Ayerst Research. She holds a B.S. with honors from Case Western Reserve University, an M.S. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a J.D., summa cum laude, from Temple University Beasley School of Law.
